M12 General Assembly meeting in Bordeaux, France

One year after the launch of the FOREST project, partners gathered for the M12 General Assembly meeting near Bordeaux, France. Hosted graciously by Airbus Atlantic Composites, this event showcased the progress made and laid out the road ahead for the project.

The coordinator kicked off the meeting by extending a warm welcome to all attendees and providing an overview of the agenda for the two-day gathering.

The highlight of the first day was the comprehensive presentation of all work packages. Leaders of each work package, along with task-responsible partners, took the stage to share insights into the ongoing work, detailing progress made and outlining the tasks ahead. This session not only showcased the dedication of each partner but also fostered a deeper understanding of the collective effort driving the project forward. Following a day filled with insightful presentations and discussions, the consortium members gathered for a delightful dinner.

The second day commenced with partners assembling at the AIRBUS facilities for a visit. Walking through the facilities, participants gained a firsthand look at the technology and innovation shaping the aerospace industry.

Post-coffee break, the focus shifted to working groups discussing the project's demonstrators. The meeting concluded with a wrap-up session discussing the outcomes of the working groups and setting the stage for the next steps.

A thank you goes out to

all partners who actively participated in the meeting, contributing their expertise and dedication to the success of the FOREST project and to Airbus Atlantic Composites for their gracious hosting.
