XV NATIONAL CONGRESS OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS

Exciting news! Our partners from AIMPLAS are currently participating in the XV National Congress of Composite Materials (MATCOMP 2023) taking place in Gijón, Asturias from June 13th to 15th.

Today, they will be sharing their expertise on the development of bio-based flame retardant additives and their incorporation in epoxy matrices for the construction and mobility sector.

And tomorrow, they will be presenting our FOREST project - Advanced lightweight materials for energy‐efficient structures, presented by Begoña Galindo Galiana and Rocio Ruiz Gallardo.

The MATCOMP Congress, hosted by the University of Oviedo, brings together researchers and companies in the field of composite materials. With the collaboration of the IEMES group, INCAR-CSIC, and OLMAR, SA, MATCOMP aims to make significant progress in this exciting world of composites during the three-day event.
