Plastics in Electric Vehicles

Our partners from AIMPLAS recently attended the AMI Event “Plastics in Electric Vehicles” held on June 4-5, 2024, in Cologne, Germany.

This event brought together industry leaders to discuss the latest technologies in weight reduction, safety improvements, cost savings, stylish designs, and more efficient manufacturing for electric-powered vehicles. Topics included innovative applications in electrical systems, powertrains, exteriors, and interiors.

Key discussions focused on strategic industry changes, the emergence of new players, and reduced product development times.

Our partner Fernando Ramos Saz showcased the FOREST project at the AIMPLAS booth. FOREST aims to revolutionize the transport sector by developing innovative bio-based polymers, additives, and recycled carbon fibers, contributing significantly to the decarbonization of transportation.
