Collaboration with REPOXYBLE project

Our project is joining forces with the REPOXYBLE project!

REPOXYBLE is a EU funded project which applies a holistic approach to develop cost and energy effective, recyclable and sustainable biobased epoxy composites, while maintaining their high performance and functional properties during their use phase, by following a multidisciplinary innovative development at every stage of the composites life-cycle: from raw materials, manufacturing and use phase to end of life. It will contribute to the development of a new generation of multifunctional, safe and sustainable-by-design plastics.

Our partners from AIMPLAS will present FOREST at the Open innovation workshop on Processes and methods for recycling, reuse, and recovery of advanced composite materials in the transport sector organized by REPOXYBLE on June 7th.

This hybrid workshop aims to share insights with experts in the field on chemical systems and novel technologies, and production techniques toward recycling and recovery of high-value composite constituents, and to understand the interplay among these variables.

A focus will be made on:

  • automotive

  • aerospace

  • marine

  • and infrastructures applications
