On the 16th and 17th of May, the city of Torino, Italy, played host to the FOREST General Assembly meeting, marking one and a half years of remarkable progress and collaboration within the project. The meeting, graciously hosted by our partner Stellantis CRF, was a significant gathering.

The first day started with a warm welcome from our hosts at Stellantis CRF and the project coordinator took the stage to review the agenda, setting the tone for a productive and insightful meeting. Each partner then had the opportunity to present their respective work packages, showcasing ongoing work and tasks.

The presentations highlighted the dedication and innovation of all partners, illustrating the strides made since the project's start. The project coordinator’s presentation provided a comprehensive overview of the progress achieved and outlined the next steps, offering a clear roadmap for the future. As the formalities of the day concluded, the partners enjoyed a walk through the historic streets of Torino. The day ended on a high note with a delightful dinner, where partners continued to exchange ideas in a more relaxed setting.

The second day began with an exciting tour of the CRF facilities. Following the tour, partners delivered presentations about the demonstrators, showcasing examples of the project’s progress. These presentations were pivotal in understanding the practical applications and potential impacts of the FOREST project, further improving the collaborative efforts of all involved.

The meeting concluded with a comprehensive summary session, where key takeaways were discussed, and future strategies were refined. A social lunch provided the perfect ending to the assembly, allowing partners to reflect on their accomplishments and reinforce the collaborative spirit that is at the heart of the FOREST project.

The FOREST General Assembly meeting in Torino was more than just a checkpoint; it was a celebration of collective achievements and a reaffirmation of our commitment to innovation and collaboration.
