Gen2Carbon create material solutions that support a greener future with a vision to accelerate the shift to a circular economy.

Gen2Carbon is a world leader in the recycling and conversion of carbon composite waste. The product portfolio includes nonwovens made from recycled carbon, nonwovens made by commingling recycled carbon fibre with thermoplastic and short/milled recycled carbon fibres.

Role in the project

In the FOREST project, the role of Gen2Carbon is to tailor the form of the recycled carbon fibre so that it can be used in different manufacturing methods. 

Gen2Carbon will be looking to optimise carbon nonwovens, manufacturing prepregs as well as organosheets/UD tapes.
