    The FOREST project
The FOREST project will contribute to the decarbonisation of the transport sector by developing and implementing innovative bio-based polymers & additives and recycled carbon fibres. The goal will be achieved by combining three key drivers: Reduce, Recovery, and Reshape.
The FOREST project has received €4.3 million in funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 101091790.
Concept
The positive environmental impact of lightweight composite materials most often occurs due to benefits during the use phase.

The EcoComposites Cluster
The EcoComposites Cluster unites six Horizon Europe projects focused on making composites more sustainable through bio-based alternatives and recycling technologies. Our goal is to enhance visibility and adoption of these innovations in transport and construction, supporting EU Green Deal objectives.
